Youth attacked with blades, 2 picked up

GUWAHATI, March 16: Paritosh Das, a person running a shop at Pandu Railway Market, was attacked by two youths with blades on his cheeks and legs on his way back home last night near the railway line. The attackers decamped with Rs 4,300 and a mobile phone from his. When Das raised a hue and cry, the local people gathered and admitted Das to the hospital. Based on a case registered in this regard, Jalukbari police picked up two youths – Pinku Kalita amd Sanjay Das – in that connection.
