Youth commits suicide - 28 Mar, 2015

GUWAHATI, March 27: A 28-year-old youth allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in his rented house at Kamakhya Colony in Maligaon area of the city last night. The deceased has been identified as Sarat Sinha, who hailed Silchar. No suicide note was recovered from the spot, sources said, adding that Sinha lived with his brother in a rented house of Haran Chakraborty at Maligaon. His body was found last evening hanging from a ceiling fan in his room. He reportedly was upset over the defeat of India with Australia in the World semi fil yesterday. The postmortem report of the deceased is awaited.
