Youth kills mother for Rs 30!

GUWAHATI, March 13: Get goose bumps! A youth killed his mother by hitting her with a machete only for Rs 30 at Gausala in Maligaon in the city today.

Shankar rayan ndi (30) reportedly killed his mother, Rita Rani ndi (68), in their kitchen room. The reason behind taking such an extreme step, according to sources, was the mother not giving her son Rs 30 as demanded. Shankar, a drunkard, was in an inebriated condition when he reportedly committed this crime around 11.30 this morning. He is the son of Subhendra rayan ndi staying at railway quarters No. 180(B) at Gausala. The father is a cancer patient.        

Shankar, according to sources, drinks every now and then, and this was why his wife and his two children deserted him almost a year ago.
