American Girl Goes Public with Rape Claim Against Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo in Las Vegas

Lisbon: An American girl has accused former Manchester United, Real Madrid and current Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo for raping her back in 2009.
The victim girl reportedly challenging Cristiano Ronaldo over a 2009 legal settlement in which the soccer superstar agreed to pay her $375,000 to keep silent over an alleged sexual assault.
Speaking to a German Publication, the victim girl claimed that Ronaldo had raped her anally at the Palms Place Hotel in Las Vegas.
The victim girl is now attempting to void her non-disclosure agreement settlement.
Reportedly, it is said that Ronaldo was on vacation in Las Vegas in the summer of 2009 with his cousin and brother-in-law and Kathryn claims that she was raped in Ronaldo's hotel room on a night during that period. She has also claimed that month after the incident.
What is more shocking into the incident is that the star footballer Ronaldo had also struck a deal with the victim girl and had paid about $375,000 to her such that she doesn't reveal anything about the alleged rape to anyone.
The girl though has now broken his silence and has now talked to the German publication about the incident.
She had given further details about the incident and has claimed that she was screaming 'no' when she was being dragged and raped in the bathroom and the bedroom. She was also reported to have faced emotional trauma from the incident, a common occurrence with sexual assaults.
There are reports that the German Publication’s journalists had also tried to contact Ronaldo about the alleged rape, but the Portuguese's lawyers have turned the requests down constantly.
The victim’s lawyer- Leslie Mark Stovall has also told Italian magazine L'Espresso more details about the incident and has said that the payment deal is invalid since it was done to take advantage of Kathryn's fragility.
Lawyer Stovall had also revealed that they had appealed to the Nevada court about the case but the appeal was deemed invalid.
The lawyer also claims that in an e-mail that he received, Ronaldo has declared that the girl did not scream out for help and thus, the intercourse happened with her consent.
It may also be mentioned that Ronaldo had previously been arrested and questioned over allegations in 2005 that he had raped a woman in a London hotel, but that case was eventually abandoned by Scotland Yard due to insufficient evidence. Ronaldo was 20 years old at the time.
It may further be mentioned that the victim seems to be facing a massive risk over coming out against Ronaldo, as their non-disclosure agreement reportedly contains clauses obliging her to pay back the $375,000 from the settlement as well as any actual damages caused to Ronaldo.
Despite all that, the victim girl said she had multiple reasons to come out against Ronaldo.
Meanwhile, there are reports surfacing in the social media that the Lawyers for Cristiano Ronaldo will sue the German publication house that published allegations by an American victim who claims was raped by the Portuguese soccer star in 2009.
