China Accuses US of Distorting Reality about North Korea

Beijing: China on Thursday claimed that the United States is trying to distort the reality after the US president Donald Trump accused Beijing of hampering the progress of North Korea’s denuclearization. Trump on Wednesday said that progress had been made with North Korea despite their stalled bilateral talks, for which he blamed China and the trade dispute between Washington and Beijing. “A lot of people, like me, feel that the US is first in the world when it comes to twisting the truth, and irresponsible and absurd logic,” Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said at a press briefing in Beijing, Efe reported.
