Norway: The Global Oreo Vault is real! Since 2008, the Svalbard Global Seed Vault in Norway has served as one of the last rescue team for defence against the annihilation of plant life on Earth. The facility is secured as the building is into the side of a mountain, holding over one million seed samples, offering hope that if all other existence is wiped out, a productive living option will still be available. This is great for fruits and vegetation nonetheless, what if you want cookies too?

Oreo just grabbed some land right next to Svalbard Global Seed Vault and built its own Global Oreo Vault.

In the words of Oreo, the Global Oreo Vault is, 'really real'. The cookie brand says that this Oreo-focused facility holds only 'the Oreo recipe and a large stockpile of cookies'.

Even if the world is hit by the apocalypse, know that you will always be able to procure the world's best-selling cookies at coordinates 78° 08° 58.1 ° N, 16 ° 015° 9.7 ° E.

The brand has gone an extra mile to assure the safety of their products by wrapping the cookie in mylar, which can resist temperatures from -80 degrees to 300 degrees Fahrenheit and remains impenetrable to any chemical reactions, moisture and air, keeping cookies fresh and protected for the time to come.

Meanwhile, NASA declared that a 'very small' asteroid known as 2018VP1 has a 0.41% of entering Earth's atmosphere. Even though they have confirmed that this asteroid would mean little threat, Oreo did not want to take any chances with its cookies.

And regardless, now that the vault is up with all the precious cookies there is no worry if a bigger one decides to crash in.
