Israeli Defence Minister Vows to Eliminate Hamas During NATO Meeting in Brussels

TEL AVIV: Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant delivered a powerful message during a meeting with 31 NATO counterparts in Brussels. He declared that the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) were determined to dismantle Hamas and pursue those responsible for the loss of innocent lives, as reported by The Times of Israel.

Gallant characterized Hamas as the "ISIS of Gaza," a ruthless organization supported by Iran. He emphatically stated, "Hamas is ISIS, and the ISIS of Gaza will not exist on our borders. The IDF will eliminate Hamas, and we will track down every individual with the blood of our children on their hands."

During the presentation, Gallant detailed the atrocities committed by Hamas terrorists against civilians of all ages, sharing an unfiltered video of some of these attacks against Israeli nationals, as per i24 News English.

In his address, Gallant highlighted that Israel has endured significant hardships but emphasized that the nation is not the same as it was in 1943. He underscored the strength, unity, and resilience of the State of Israel.

He expressed gratitude for the worldwide support received by Israel following the attack launched by Hamas on October 7, according to The Times of Israel.

Meanwhile, the Israeli Defence Forces revealed that Hamas displayed ISIS flags during their infiltration of various parts of southern Israel over the weekend. An official post on X by the Israeli Defence Forces stated, "Hamas brought ISIS flags to massacre Israeli children, women, and men. Hamas is a genocidal terrorist organization. Hamas is worse than ISIS."

The death toll in Israel since the Hamas attack has risen to 1,300, with approximately 3,300 people injured, including 28 in critical condition and 350 in serious condition, according to Hebrew media reports cited by The Times of Israel. Additionally, the fate of around 150 individuals who were abducted and taken to the Gaza Strip during the attack remains uncertain.

The Israeli Defence Forces, through spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, have informed families of 97 hostages held by terrorists in the Gaza Strip, as reported by The Times of Israel.
