On Saturday 27 November in an American Airline jet, a man was found hidden inside the landing gear compartment who survived a flight of 2.5 hours which departed from his hometown Guatemala, Central America, and landed in Miami, Florida.

This shocking and strange incident was confirmed by the CBP, U.S Customs and Border Protection Agency through a statement which was recently quoted by Miami based TV station called WTVJ. The statement of U.S Customs and Border Protection (CBP) stated that CBP officers have arrested a man of 26 years old who tried to escape detection in the plane's compartment of landing gear coming from Guatemala on Saturday 27 November.

According to the statement issued by American Airlines, Flight 1182 arriving from the city of Guatemala to Miami reached after morning 10 AM as per local timing and the flight was met by law enforcement officers for security concerns. Apart from these the American airline provided no other information.

The WTVJ television station posted a video on their channel which shows a man taken at the Miami International Airport soon after the plane landed. After being caught the man was handed over to the officials of the U.S Immigration department and then he was taken to hospital for further medical observation. The officials added that the investigation of this incident is still going on.

In the video shared on the social media page 'Only in Dade' on Instagram, the stowaway was seen sitting on a tarmac looked unharmed without any injury but appeared shocked.
