Pakistani TikTok Star Lip Job Half-Done, Says Bank Account Got Freezed Midway

NEW DELHI: A Pakistani woman famous for her Tiktok videos shared a video of her botched lips on Saturday.

Hareem Shah said that she was forced to leave the lip job procedure midway with her upper lip half swollen. The video has gone since she posted it two days ago.

Shah in her video claimed that she had to leave the procedure midway because the Pakistan government had frozen her account.

According to reports, the Pakistan Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had initiated a money-laundering case against Hareem Shah earlier this month. The investigation started after Shah claimed that she travelled from Pakistan to the United Kingdom with a significant amount of cash.

The TikTok star talked about how she had wanted to get lip fillers for a long. She said that she had gone to the clinic to get lip fillers and the specialist had only injected one side of her upper lip when she got a call informing her that the FIA had ordered to freeze all her bank accounts.

That is when Shah realised that lip fillers are expensive and she will not be able to pay for it with the frozen accounts. The video of Shah in question in which she claimed about carrying cash from Pakistan to the UK was reportedly posted on Snack Video first.

The video posted on January 10 showed Shah sitting with two stacks of British pounds. Shah pointed out at the cash and said that it was the first time that she had carried so much with her. She kept saying "heavy amount". When the authorities took notice of the video, an investigation was launched against her.

According to the official website of FIA, passengers can carry any amount of cash with them but if they are going out of Pakistan, they can only carry amounts upto USD 10,000. The FIA released a statement in the case and said that she is being investigated under the foreign exchange laws. Her visa, travel documents and immigration documents have also been obtained by the authorities.

The statement added, "The FIA has decided to write a letter to the UK's National Crime Agency to take action against Hareem Shah whose real name is Fiza Husain."
