Queen Asked Meghan About Donald Trump In First Meet, Says Prince Harry

LONDON: The fastest-selling nonfiction book ever is Prince Harry's candid memoir Spare, which details his life. In it, Prince Harry asserted that the Queen asked a direct question of his bride, Meghan Markle, at their initial meeting. According to Prince Harry's autobiography Spare, Meghan was questioned about Donald Trump by his late grandmother.

Meghan was really delighted to learn that she would be meeting the Queen and thought it would be just like any other family introduction. According to reports, Meghan was astounded by the rituals that would be observed inside the royal family. Sarah Ferguson instructed the Suits actor in the curtsy before escorting him inside Windsor Castle. After a formal introduction, the Queen asked Meghan what she thought of Donald Trump, prompting Meghan to perform an amazing curtsy for her. As Harry stated in his book Spare: "Even so, Granny questioned Meg about her opinion about Donald Trump. This occurred right before the 2016 elections in November."

Despite Meghan Markle's love for politics, Prince Harry said, she decided against being overly candid and speaking about it during the first meeting because doing so would be perilous. Meghan allegedly changed the subject to her seven-year residence in the Commonwealth nation of Canada, according to Harry. The Queen allegedly "looked pleased" during this conversation.

When Meghan appeared on The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore in America, she expressed her opinions on Donald Trump clearly and declared that she would leave the country if he were elected president.

In the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, Spare has already sold more than 1.4 million copies since its January 10 release. The book digs deeper into a variety of subjects, such as the difficulties of growing up in the spotlight and the treatment of him and his wife, Meghan Markle, which prompted them to resign as working royals. Archie and Lilibet were born to Prince Harry and Meghan after their May 19, 2018, wedding. The pair retired from their roles as working royals in January 2020 and afterward relocated to California in the US.
