Russian State TV Fires Warning Shots, Says World War 3 Has Begun After Sinking Of Moskva

Moscow: It has been almost two months since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began and going by the current situation on the ground, it does not seem like the conflict is nearing its end.

A lot of people were raising concerns about the possible outbreak of World War 3 in case of a direct confrontation between Russia and NATO.

However, Russian State television has declared that World War III has already started after the sinking of its naval vessel Moskva in the Ukraine war.

The Ukrainians have claimed the credit of destroying the flagship vessel of Moscow's Black Sea Fleet through its Neptune missile but Russia has denied these claims by saying that the vessel was damaged after a fire.

Whatever the truth may be, but it is certain that this incident has not gone down well with the Kremlin and has led to a meltdown on Russia 1, the Kremlin's main propaganda mouthpiece.

News presenter Olga Skabeyeva delivered the horrifying statement, informing the viewers that what it's escalated into can safely be called World War III" and insisted "that's entirely for sure."

Skabeyeva further went on to say that Russia is currently embroiled in a fight against NATO infrastructure, if not NATO itself and added that it needs to be recognized.

A guest on the show exaggerated the incident by comparing the sinking of Moskva to an attack on Russian soil. The statement comes despite the Kremlin insisting that the vessel sank because of a fire.

On another state-run television channel, an anchor argued that the West was using Ukraine as a proxy and was shooting off their shoulder.

Olesya Loseva, the host of Vremya Pokazhet on Channel One, said the West was now supplying "zillions of weapons" to Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Russian news agencies reported late on April 14 that warship Moskva sank in rough weather while being towed back to port.
