US Woman Who Made Rs 1.49 crore From Her Farts Retires

New Delhi: A US reality star who made $200,000 (Rs 1.49 crore) from farting in jars has announced her retirement after she was rushed to hospital for squeezing out one too many.

According to a report, Stephanie Matto, 31 from Connecticut, was recently rushed to a hospital after experiencing chest pain.

After reaching the hospital, the doctors performed the required tests and apprised her that the symptoms were actually caused by the excess gas from her diet of eggs, beans and banana protein shakes.

Notably, after appearing on the reality show she gained named ''90 Day Fiance'' she gained international recognition.

After this, she was in the headlines for capturing her emissions in jars and selling them.

"I thought I was having a stroke and that these were my final moments. I was overdoing it," Jam Press quoted her as saying.

Interestingly, she started selling her farts in a jar in November last year, after receiving requests on the adult-content site Unifiltrd.

Apart from Matto, Lush Botanica, a YouTuber from America and an adult star had claimed that she earned more than $25, 000 which is Rs 18 lakh by selling her farts online.

During an interview, the American woman had said that all this has happened after a person had approached her to film a custom fart video.

Although she revealed in a YouTube video, she was reluctant to fart on camera, she went along with it. The video got a positive response from the person and soon she was getting requests by other people offering her money to fart on camera.

Lush had said that once in a day she earned $ 4, 000 solely fart videos. She said that the task was not easy for her to fart so often.

She revealed that she had to eat foods like cheese, dairy products which helps her to fart even though she's lactose intolerant.

Lush said that she charged up to $ 175 dollars or Rs 12, 000 for a single or one fart video.
