Central Ground Water Board (CGWB) has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 62 Young Professional & Consultant posts.

1. Consultant

No of posts: 14 [Guwahati: 1]

Educational Qualification: Masters degree (MSc/MS/MTech/MScTech or equivalent) in Geology/Applied Geology/Earth Science/ GeoScience/ Hydrogeology from a recognized university.

Essential Work Experience: 10 years working experience in the field of groundwater/hydrogeology.

Pay: Rs1,00,000 ± 5% depending upon educational qualification and experience as per the recommendation of the evaluation committee.

2. Young Professional (Ground Water)

No of posts: 48 [Guwahati: 2]

Educational Qualification: Masters degree (MSc/MS/MTech/MScTech or equivalent) in Geology/Applied Geology/Earth Science/GeoScience/Hydrogeology from a recognized university.

Essential Work Experience: NIL

Pay: Rs. 45,000 ± 5% depending upon educational qualification and experience as per the recommendation of the evaluation committee.

Age: Maximum age limit for appointment of Young Professionals shall be 30 years as on 01.01.2020 (born on or after 01.01.1990) and that for consultants shall be 65 years as on 01.01.2020 (born on or after 01.01.1955)
