CSIR – North East Institute of Science & Technology, Jorhat has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 2 Project Scientist II and Project Assistant II posts.

1. Project Scientist II

No of posts: 1

Essential Qualification: Ph.D.in Virology / Microbiology / Molecular Biology / Biotechnology OR

MD / MVSc in Virology / Microbiology with 3 years experience.

Desirable Qualification: Minimum one year hands on experience of RNA/DNA isolation, Real-Time PCR, Handling of Clinical viral specimen.

Age: 40 years on the date of interview.

Pay: Rs. 67,000/- per month + 8% HRA

2. Project Assistant II

No of posts: 1

Essential Qualification: M.Sc./ MVSc in Virology / Microbiology / Molecular Biology

Desirable Qualification: Minimum one year hands on experience of RNA / DNA isolation, Real-Time PCR, Handling of Clinical viral specimen.

Age: 30 years on the date of interview.

Pay: Rs. 31000/- per month + 8%HRA
