Department of Telecommunications Jobs for Junior Telecom Officers/Sub Divisional Engineer

Subject:- Vacancy circular to fill up Sub Divisional Engineers (SDEs) and Junior Telecom Officers (JTOs) posts in O/o Sr. DDG, Assam LSA on deputation basis. It is proposed to fill up the posts of Sub Divisional Engineers and Junior Telecom Officers on deputation basis from among the staff working in Central/State Government office/PSUs as per the details given below.

Selection Proces: Selection Will be Based either Written Exam/Interview

The above vacancies are provisional and may vary as per the actual requirements at the time of finalization of the selection.

The eligibility conditions and job profile for the above posts are given in Annexure I.

The period of deputation will be three years initially, extendable further up to 5 years or till superannuation, whichever is earlier, if required, in the exigencies of public services. The deputation can be terminated at any time prior to completion of deputation tenure as per requirement.

The pay and terms & conditions of the deputation of the officials selected shall be regulated as stipulated in DOP&T OM No. 6/8/2009-Estt.(Pay II) dated 17/06/2010, subsequent OM No. 2/11/2017-Estt (Pay II) dated 24/11/2017 and subsequent circulars, if any, from DOP&T in this regard as amended from time to time.

The terms & conditions of the deputation for BSNL/MTNL employees shall be governed by DoT OM No. 34-8/2001-SEA (Vol II) dated 24/11/2017.

The applications of the willing and eligible officials whose services can be spared on their selections may be sent in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-II, III &IV) duly recommended by the Head of Office/Department with attested copies of the APARs for the last 5 years and Vigilance Clearance to the ADG (Admin), O/o Sr. DDG, Assam LSA, 9 th Floor, BSNL Bhawan, Panbazar, Guwahati – 781 001 on or before 27th September 2019. Officials who volunteer for the posts will not be permitted to withdrawn their names later. Delayed/incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.
