Director of Technical Education, Assam has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 120 Lecturer (Technical & Non- Technical) & Senior Instructor posts of 5 newly established Polytechnics at Tinsukia, Morigaon, Chirang, Udalguri & Hailakandi.

1/ Post name: Lecturer (Technical: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Agriculture Engineering, Food Processing Technology, Mining Engineering, Medical Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation, ETC Engineering)

No of posts: 80

*Note: 1 post of Mechanical Engineering and 2 posts of Electrical Engineering will be selected from candidates having Computer Proficiency along with a requisite qualification.

Salary: As per the AICTE pay Scale.

2/ Post name: Lecturer (Non-Technical) Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, Humanities/ Commerce

No of posts: 25

Salary: As per the AICTE pay Scale.

3/Post name: Senior Instructor (Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Agriculture Engineering, Food Processing Technology, Mining Engineering, Medical Electronics Engineering)

No of posts: 15

Salary: 14,000-60,500/- with GP Rs.8,700/-

Age: Candidates must not be less than 18 years and more than 38 years of age on 01.01.2020. However, the upper age limit is relaxable as per existing Govt. rules.

How to apply: Candidates are requested to apply online in the Official website of Directorate of Technical Education, Assam by logging into www.dte.assam.gov.in.

The Online Application will start from 29.02.2020 and will remain open till 20.03.2020.

The candidate must upload the scan copy of the proof of Permanent resident of Assam (Voter ID/PRC), Qualifying examination, Age, Caste, etc. along with recent passport size photograph and specimen signature at the time of online application.
