Qualification: Post Graduate in Hospitality / Tourism or MBA from a recognized University / Institute. three years Diploma in Hotel Administration/Hospitality Management/Hotel Management/Hospitality Administration/Culinary Arts/Culinary Science with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.

Age: Not exceeding 40 years

No of posts: 1 (UR)

salary: Rs.44900/- – 142400/-, Level- 7

Post Name: Asst. Lecturer

Qualification: Post Graduate in Hospitality / Tourism or MBA from a recognized University / Institute. Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality / Hotel Administration / Hotel Management /Culinary Art from a recognized university.

Age: Not exceeding 35 years

No of posts: 2 nos. – 1 (UR), 1 (ST)

Salary: Rs. 35400/- Rs. 112400/-, Level - 6

Post Name: Teaching Associates

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma, prerequisite qualification is 12th passed as framed by regular/University in Hospitality / Hotel Administration/Hotel Management/ Culinary Art from a recognized University.

Age: Not exceeding 30 years

No of posts: 1 (SC)

Salary: Rs.25,000/- per month

Method of Selection:

Lecturer: Practical & Teaching Skill Test & Written Test

Asst. Lecturer & T.A.: NHTET/PhD followed by practical Skill & Teaching Skill Test.

Application Fee: A DD from Nationalized Bank of Rs. 300/-as processing fees drawn in favour of, Institute of Hotel Management, Guwahati payable at Guwahati (non-refundable) be attached with the application form. The person applying for more than one post should send separate application for each post attaching separate demand drafts in each application. SC/ST and women candidates are exempted from paying the processing fee.
