The Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) was established in the year 1993 in Guwahati by the erstwhile Ministry of Industry (now the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises), Government of India as an autonomous National Institute to undertake training, research and consultancy activities in small and micro enterprises focusing on entrepreneurship development.

The institute began operating from April 1994 with the North East Council (NEC), Governments of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland and SIDBI as its other stakeholders. It is also An ISO 9001:2015 Certified Organisation.

Educational Qualification & Eligibility Criteria for IIE Job Vacancy:

Post Name	Educational Qualification
Project Associate (Training)	Graduate Degree preferably in Social Work / Rural Development / Economics / Development Studies, Social Sciences etc. Experience : At least 3 years proven track record of implementation in Social / Community development project especially in livelihood development project. Having extensive experience in field legal activities and have excellent communication skills with communities.
Project Associate (Marketing)	Graduate Degree. MBA in Marketing will be preferred Experience : At least 2 years proven track record of sales and marketing. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in FMCG sector.
Multitasker Grade-I	HS in any stream Experience : At least 1 year of experience as Multitasker in office works. Experience in FMCG companies or having a robust understanding of the sector will be preferred.
Project Head Grade-I	Post Graduate degree in management or other related fields Minimum 8 to 10 years of professional experiences in entrepreneurship promotion and related work Work experience in an industry / business association or service provider providing innovation labs, business development programmes etc. is preferable Good knowledge on policies and approaches adopted by government, various stakeholders and the private sector to promote entrepreneurship in India, specifically in North East. Ability to work independently and take responsibility Proactive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit Fluent in English, Hindi and Assamese is a must, fluency in further regional languages would be an advantage
