SLPRB Assam Recruitment 2023

State Level Police Recruitment Board, Assam has released a notification for the recruitment of Safai Karmachari, Sweeper posts in different departments in Assam. More details about the recruitment are provided below:

Educational Qualification 

Applicants must be at least 6th Class passed from a recognized School or Institution and the maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII passed from a recognized Board or Council.

Age Limit

Applicant's age must be between 18 to 40 years as of 01-01-2023 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2005 and on or after 01.01.1983). The upper age limit will be relaxed to various categories as per the following:

5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST (P) and ST (H).

3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.

Nationality 

Candidates must be Indian citizens and permanent residents of Assam. Candidates will have to submit Proof of Residence after the publication of the final selection list. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC/MOBC are exempted from submitting such certificates. Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.

Selection Process

Selection will be on basis of their performance in the Physical Tests and Trade Test/Skill Test. There is no written examination. However, candidates need to produce their original academic certificates and other documents. Candidates will be intimated through a notification on the official website about the physical test schedule and venue details.
