About Kokrajhar - Kokrajhar is one of the 33(thirty three) districts of Assam with 2.85% of the state population and is the gateway to Northeast India. Both the rail and road network touch this district at Srirampur on the way to the rest of the region. The district is located on the north bank of the mighty Brahmaputra and stretches to the international border with Bhutan.
