National Health Mission (NHM), Assam all doctors who have passed MBBS course and completed their compulsory rotating internship in 2022 (Supplementary Batch) from Medical Colleges of Assam are hereby invited to apply online for their One Year Compulsory Rural Posting under National Health Mission (NHM), Assam. Desirous candidates can check all the job details of no of posts, age limit, salary, qualification, etc prescribed below:

Eligibility & Qualification

MBBS degree from a Govt. recognized Medical Colleges of Assam and registered with Assam Medical Council (AMC). 

Important Dates:

Online application will be received till: 10th November 2022.

Date of Publication of Merit List: 12th November 2022.

Date of Counselling: 15th November 2022 (Tentative).

About National Health Mission (NHM) Assam

The National Health Mission (NHM) was launched by the government of India in 2013 subsuming the National Rural Health Mission and National Urban Health Mission. It was further extended in March 2018, to continue until March 2020. It is headed by Mission Director and monitored by National Level Monitors appointed by the Government of India.

NHM, Assam is strengthening community participation in the health service delivery system. The ASHA programme, considered to be the foundation of NHM, Assam is rendering laudable voluntary services covering all the villages and urban populations.

The key features in order to achieve the goals of the Mission include making the public health delivery system fully functional and accountable to the community, human resources management, community involvement, decentralization, rigorous monitoring & evaluation against standards, convergence of health and related programs from village level upwards, innovations and flexible financing and also interventions for improving the health indicators.
