National Institute of Technology (NIT) Job Notification 2021 

Applications are invited from Indian citizens for a temporary post of Project Assistant (PA) for the DST-SERB (SRG) sponsored project in the Department of Mechanical Engineering NIT Silchar. National Institute of Technology Silchar Post Details, Salary Scale Given below:-\

Qualification & Eligibility Criteria for Project Assistant: 

i) B.E./B. Tech./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

ii) Master's Degree in Mechanical System Design/Design/Mechatronics/Applied Mechanics with relevant research experience in the field of Design/Dynamics and Vibration Analysis. Throughout First Class, an academic career is preferred.

iii) SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN/PWD/EWS candidates will get relaxation as per Government of India Rules and Regulations.

Candidate should write "Application for the post of Project Assistant under the project SRG/2020/001033" on the top of the envelope containing the filled application form with relevant documents. Applicants are also requested to send the soft copy of the duly filled application along with C.V. & all necessary documents to the PI through email (alfabisoi@mech.nits.ac.in) with the subject as "Application for the post of Project Assistant under the project SRG/2020/001033" on or before 07.03.2021 up to 5 PM IST. Application received after 07.03.2021 will not be accepted

Selection Process for Project Assistant Vacancy: 

Date of the interview, time, and venue 23.03.2021, 10:30 AM IST, Department of Mechanical Engineering, NIT Silchar. If pandemic conditions and Government regulations prevailed at the time of the interview, it will be conducted online through online mode that will be notified in due course of time.

The Institute has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for the interview on the basis of screening. No candidate may be recruited if suitable candidates are not found.
