3. Level in the Pay Matrix Level-2 (Rs. 19000-63200) in Pay Matrix

4. Educational and other qualifications required for direct recruit

a. Essential: Secondary School Examination (10th Std.) pass from a recognized Board/Institution. Should possess one (01) year National Trade Certificate in Welding from a recognised Industrial Training Institute (ITI).

5. Desirable: Three (03) years professional experience in gas and arc welding in an organization of repute. And Certificate issued by the Indian Registrar of Shipping (IRS).

6. Method of recruitment whether by direct recruitment or by promotion and percentage of the vacancies to be filled by various methods: 60% by Promotion and 40% by direct recruitment
