Applications are invited from bright, young talents for 10 positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and 2 Research Associates (RA) to work in challenging areas of research of national importance. Solid State Physics Laboratory (SSPL) is pursuing research in the areas of advanced semiconductor materials and devices. Some of the research areas include the development of compounds semiconductors (bulk crystal and epilayer structure), MEMS, MMICs, laser diodes, IR sensors, Nanotechnology, etc. The laboratory is equipped with a state of art material preparation, characterization, device fabrication, and circuit design facilities.
