Goa Public Service Commission Job Notification 

Applications are invited from Indian citizens for filling up of posts of Veterinary Officer, Lecturer & Other – 42 Posts levels in Goa Public Service Commission on direct recruitment basis as per following details. Goa PSC Post Details, Salary Scale Given below:-

Qualification & Eligibility Criteria for Veterinary Officer, Lecturer & Other – 42 Posts

1. Veterinary Officer

Educational & Other Qualifications

(i) Recognised Veterinary qualification included in the First or Second Schedule to the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984(Central Act 52 of 1984) and registered with a Goa State Veterinary Council.

(ii) Knowledge of Konkani.

Note: In case of the non-availability of a suitable candidate with the knowledge of Konkani, this requirement can be relaxed.

Desirable: (i) Experience in Cattle Development or Poultry Development or running of a Veterinary Dispensary. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.

2. Lecturer in Surgery 

Educational & Other Qualifications

(i) A recognised medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Section 13(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

(ii) Post-graduate medical qualification in the speciality concerned or equivalent.

(iii) At least 3 years' teaching experience in the concerned speciality as Senior Resident/Registrar/Tutor/Demonstrator in a Medical College/Teaching Institution.

(iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi. 

3. Lecturer in Orthopaedic Surgery

Educational & Other Qualifications

(i) A recognised medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Section 13(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

(ii) Post-graduate medical qualification in the speciality concerned or equivalent.

(iii) At least 3 years' teaching experience in the concerned speciality as Senior Resident/Registrar/Tutor/Demonstrator in a Medical College/Teaching Institution. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi 

4.Director of Museum

Educational & Other Qualifications

(i) Atleast second class Master's Degree in Indian History/Archaeology/Arabic/Persion/Museology/Art and Culture/Sanskrit/Pali/Prakrit from a recognised University or equivalent.

(ii) Training in Museology from recognized institution

(iii) 10 years experience in supervisory capacity in museum administration and setting up galleries. (Period of deputation shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years)

5. State Tax Officer 

Educational & Other Qualifications

(i) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent, preferably in Commerce or Economics.

(ii) Associates Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants OR 3 years experience in commercial accounts in a Government or a Semi-Government Organisation or

in a Commercial or Banking firm or in a firm of Chartered Accountants.

(iii) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: (i) Degree in Law of a recognized University or equivalent. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi. 

6. Technical Officer in Administrative Reforms Department

Educational & Other Qualifications

(i) Degree of a recognized University or its equivalent. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: (i) Successful completion of the Basic Management Service Course of the Institute of Secretariat Training of Management or an equivalent training in any other recognized Institution. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi. 

7. Lecturers

Educational & Other Qualifications

(i) A qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948).

(ii) Post-Graduate qualification in Dentistry i.e. Master of Dental Surgery in concerned speciality/subject from a recognized institution or equivalent.

(iii) Should be registered with Dental Council. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: (i) One year teaching experience after post graduation in a recognized Institute. (ii) Three years experience as Registrar/Tutor/Senior Resident/Demonstrator in the concerned speciality of Dentistry in a recognized Dental College/Medical College with Dental Wing/Dental Institution. (iii) Knowledge of Marathi.

8. Associate Professor in Architecture

Educational & Other Qualifications

(i) Bachelors and Masters Degree in Architecture with First Class or equivalent, either in Bachelors or Masters Degree.

(ii) Ph. D. or equivalent in appropriate discipline.

(iii) Minimum of 5 years experience in Teaching/Research Industry.
