About Meghalaya Secretariat:

The main object and purpose of Secretariat Administration Department as the name refers is to service the whole Secretariat which includes establishment matters of the Secretariat Department and its staff from the post of Assistant Superintendent to peon (Non-gazetted) including offices of the Ministers, Chairman, Vice / Deputy-Chairman / Parliamentary Secretaries etc.: drawal and disburse payment of Salaries of Ministers, Officers & Staff of Secretariat and other types of payment of expenditures related to the establishment matters of all the Departments of the Government , Receipts and issues of all the daks , Ensure the Cleanliness and proper Maintenance of the Secretariat Buildings and storage of all closed files for record sent by other secretariat Departments.

The Department aims at providing a clean and healthy working environment to all those who are accommodated in the Secretariat with fully committed staff to meet the expectation of the senior Officers / Ministers by increasing their work efficiency and Discipline,to clear all their entitlements as soon as the claim is preferred and to provide efficient service whenever required.

Meghalaya Secretariat Job Recruitment 2022:

 Applications are invited from the Indian Citizens (as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution) for the following categories of Grade IV posts i.e.Peon, Cleaner, Sweeper, Chowkidar, and Mali in the Secretariat Administration Department (Nazarat). • Candidates are to apply and submit their applications online through the website at http://megrecruitment.nic.in/rpa/login.htm
• Apply online for Meghalaya Government Job Recruitment 2022
• For Candidates applying for the first time through online mode, a one-time registration process is required to enable them to apply against advertised posts.
• Applications will be received in online mode only and upto 17.00 hrs on or before 7th March 2022.

Application Fee: Candidates who wish to apply may pay the Examination fee which is Rs. 100/- for the General category and Rs. 50/- for ST/SC for each post by using any one of the following modes of payment

1. Debit cum ATM Cards/credit cards/Net banking.
2. E-Challan (cash payment) at any branch of SBI.
3. For payment using State Bank of India/Net Banking, Please select e-payment and select State Bank of India on the Meghalaya e-payment portal page.
4. For payment via Net Banking/ATM cum Debit Card/Credit Card of other Banks please select SBI e-payment Gateway and click proceed for payment.
5. E-Challan/Cash payment at any branch at SBI. For cash payment, please select payment across Bank Counter. Fill in the required details, an e-challan will be generated.
6. Take a printout of the e-challan and make the required payment at any branch at SBI.
7. Please note that you need NOT submit the e-challan.
8. Kindly note that an additional amount in the form of the Bank's Commission may be applied against any purpose.

Selection Procedure for Grade IV Vacancy:

The selection of the candidates will be based on the interview.
