Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow in a DBT funded research project with the following details: Title of the project: "Harnessing Endophytes and Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi from Citrus Microbiome for plant and Soil Health Management in North East India". Sikkim University Post Details, Salary Scale Given below:-

Qualification & Eligibility Criteria for JRF Vacancy: 

MSc degree in any branch of Botany/ Microbiology/ Agriculture Microbiology with at least 55% marks and preferably NET qualified or equivalent.

Candidates with knowledge of working with endophytes (bacteria and fungi), AMF and PGPR-related laboratory and field work are desired.

Candidates who have cleared the DBT-BET Examination under Category-II can apply and will be paid fellowships at par with NET/GATE qualified candidates. 

Desirable qualification: Working experience in Microbiology and other related fields.

Selection Process for Junior Research Fellow Job Vacancy: 

Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview through e-mail.

No TA /DA will be paid for attending the interview. 

Initially for 6 months and can be extended up to 3 years or till the completion of the project subject to satisfactory performance.
