Bachelor's Degree in Law from a recognized university or institute.
Two year's experience of practicing in a court of law.
NOTE: The qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Candidates must apply online through the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in. Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected. Date For The Interview On Which The Shortlisted Candidate Is Required To Bring The Printout Of His/her Online Application Along with Other Documents At Upsc Shall Be Intimated Separately. The Last Date For Printing Of Completely Submitted Online Application Is Upto 23:59 Hrs On 05.03.2021.

The category-wise minimum level of suitability in interviews, irrespective of whether the selection is made only by interview or by Recruitment Test followed by an interview, will be UR/EWS-50 marks, OBC-45 marks, SC/ST/PH-40 marks, out of the total marks of an interview being 100.
In cases where selection is made by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by an interview, the candidate will have to achieve a minimum level of suitability in their respective category at the Interview stage.
