How to Apply for CISF Ex-Army Job Openings:

Before applying for the above post(s) the candidates should fill the application on the Proforma as per Annexure "I" along with the self-attested copies of Filled in application form, Pension Payment Order (PPO), Birth Certificate, Service/Discharge Certificate, Educational Qualification Certificate, copy of Identification Card issued by the Indian Army on retirement, Medical Fitness certificate by any Government Doctor, filled-in questionnaire form as per Annexure „II‟ in PDF Format with 1 recent passport size colour photograph (JPEG format and size - 50-100 KB) and sent to the concerned application authorities the required documents through e-mail only in capital letters with subject of the said e-mail as "APPLICATION FOR ENGAGEMENT OF ExARMY PERSONNEL ON CONTRACTUAL BASIS IN CISF".

Selection Procedure for SI, ASI & other Job Openings:

● After the submission of all the required documents, the eligible candidates applying for the contractual engagement will be issued admit cards by the concerned sector under whose jurisdiction his/her first preference unit is located.

● For screening and document verification, the candidate will report to his/her 1st preference CISF Unit.

● The Screening –cum-Selection Committee constituted by CISF for selection of the candidates will be constituted by CISF and the procedure of selection will be on the basis of Document Verification.

● Candidates are required to produce original documents mentioned above for screening.

● Followed by the Physical Standard Test (PST), the candidates applying for the post of SI/Exe or ASI/Exe are required to fulfil the necessary physical standards prescribed in the notification. Physical measurement shall be taken for record purpose only in respect of candidates appearing for the post of HC/GD or Constable/GD.

● After PST, marks will be awarded on the basis of the Discharge Certificate.

● Selected candidate will be required to appear in the Medical Examination as per SHAPE policy of CISF and only SHAPE-1 candidates will be considered.

● Based on the marks scored by the candidates, the merit will be drawn.

● All the candidates who qualify in the selection process, but could not figure in the merit list shall be kept in the waiting list. A waiting list of the candidates shall also be published valid for six months from the date of publication alongwith the main list.
