IIT Kharagpur JRF Educational Qualification Criteria:

Candidates applying for the vacant post of Junior Research Fellowship must have passed with at least 70 % (CGPA-7 out of 10 point scale) or above in Class X, Class XII, B. Tech degree or equivalent. B. Tech discipline (preferred valid GATE/NET score). He/She should be in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Instrumentation, Automation Engineering. M. Sc. or equivalent In Electronics, Computer Science, Agriculture, Information Technology.

It is to be noted that the successful candidates, if found satisfactory will be encouraged to pursue M.S. degree at IIT Kharagpur.

Selection Procedure IIT Kharagpur JRF Opening 2020:

Candidates who are shortlisted will be selected through an appropriate mode of selection as and when decided by the Authority of IIT Kharagpur.
