Educational Qualification & Eligibility Criteria for Demonstrator vacancy:

To be suitable for the advertised post of Demonstrator vacancy in Assam Handloom & Textile, candidates must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination passed. He/ She must have 2 (two) years certificate course in Textile Technology or Handloom Technology from any recognized Institute or Certificate Course from Handloom Training Institute of the Department of Handloom & Textile, Assam

How to apply for Handloom & Textile job opening:

Applicants who are willing for the vacant post are advised to submit their application in the standard format as published in Assam Gazette Part-IX. The application should be put inside envelope along with the requisite documents and at the top of envelope candidate should superscribe "Application for the post of Demonstrator, Category — SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD" and shall be addressed to The Director, Handloom & Textiles, Assam, Vastra Bhawan, Ambari, Guwahati-1.

Candidates must enclose the following documents mentioned below:

• 1 (one) self addressed envelop of 5CM X 11 CM affixing unused postal stamp of Rs. 10.00 (Rupees ten) only.
  
• Self attested copies of all certificates in support of educational qualification, age, caste etc.
  
• Attested copy of PWD/ EWS certificate issued by Competent Authority.
  
• Declaration Form-A related to the Assam Public Services (Application of Small Family norms in Direct Recruitment) Rules, 2019.
  
• 2 (two) copies of recent passport size photographs signed and dated by the candidate on reverse side.
  
• Attested copy of valid registration certificate of Employment Exchange.
  

It is to be noted that the last date of submission of application form is 9th February, 2021.

Selection Procedure for Demonstrator:

Candidates shall have to appear for Written Test which will be of 100 marks as per syllabus of two years certificate course in Handloom Training Institute/ Textile Technology and Practical Test of 50 marks. The selection of candidates shall be made on the basis of marks obtained in both the Objective Type Written Test and Practical Test
