Assam University Job Notification 2021

A walk-in-interview will be held on 7 – 09 - 2021 (Tuesday) at 11.30 a.m. in the Department of Philosophy, Assam University, Silchar for engagement of one Part-time Physical Instructor (Gymnasium) on a purely temporary basis for the University Gymnasium for an initial term of 6 (six) months from the date of joining duty, which may be extended on need basis thereafter. Post Details, Qualifications, Salary Scale Given Below:-

Qualification and Eligibility Criteria for Part-Time Physical Instructor Vacancy: 

Graduate with Diploma/Certificate in Gymnasium Training/ Weightlifting from any recognized University/ Institution/Centre.

OR

Graduate with record of having represented the University/State in Body Building/Weightlifting/Powerlifting at the Inter-University/National Championships.

Evidence of having produced good performance teams/players in Body Building/Weightlifting/Powerlifting for competitions like State/National/Inter-University, etc.

Desirable: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education/Sports/Sports Sciences
