Candidates are invited for walk-in-interview for a purely temporary position of 1 (one) Young Professional - I (YP-I) purely on contractual basis to work under NMHS project entitled "Upscaling of climate-friendly pen aquaculture technology for improved livelihood, employment generation and enhanced income of wetland fishers of North-eastern India" at ICAR-CIFRI, Guwahati. CIFRI Post Details, Salary Scale Given below:-

Qualification & Eligibility Criteria for Young Professional I Posts: 

B.F.Sc. or B.Sc. (Zoology /Life Sciences/ Statistics/ Biotechnology)

Tenure: Upto 31st August, 2021 OR Coterminus with the project, whichever is earlier.

Only Indian citizens are eligible for appearing in the online interview.

No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates.

Candidates who are already working / or in similar positions should produce no objection certificate obtained from their employer / supervisor at the time of interview.

In view of COVID-19 Pandemic, Strict Social Distancing norms will be followed. No candidate will be allowed to enter ICAR-CIFRI campus without mask.

Selection Process for Young Professional I Job Vacancy:

Selection Will be Based either Written Exam/Interview.

The selected candidates shall have not right/claim for regular appointment at ICARCIFRI at any point of time. 

Selected Candidate (s) will be required to produce all original documents at the time of joining.

The selected candidates will be stationed at Guwahati or at project sites as required from time to time and will have to conduct extensive field work involving frequent travel, laboratory works and survey of different sites for sample collection.

The Director's decision will be final and binding on all aspects.
