About DHMO

To provide primary health care to the people living in the district through a network of 87 PHCs, 544 Sub Centres and the field staff employed therein. The Aims & objectives of the department is implementation of Maternal Child Health care and Family Welfare Services in the district i.e., comprising of antenatal care, postnatal care, immunization, family planning preventive care of the community, taking care of communicable , non-communicable & vector borne diseases to concentrate in environmental sensitisation and personal hygiene. Besides the state funding, the administrative bearing supported from NHM.
