Educational Qualification & Eligibility Criteria for Junior Scientific Officer vacancy:

To be suitable for the advertised post of in UPSC, candidates must have qualified M.Sc. in microbiology from a recognized university or institute. Or he/she must have pursued M.Sc. in Botony with specialization in Plant Pathology or Microbiology or Mycology from a recognized University or Institute OR M.Sc. in Agriculture with specialization in Soil Science or Agriculture Chemistry or Agronomy or Microbiology or Plant Pathology or Horticulture or Agricultural Extension from a recognized university or institute. Intending candidates shall have at least two years experience related to research and development of biofertilisers and other aspects of organic farming.
