What is Mehendi?
Mehendi, also referred to as 'henna' is derived from a Sanskrit term 'Mendikha'. It is basically prepared from grounded henna leaves and makes a paste out of it. It is temporary body art, used for decorating skin especially the palm of our hands through a cone-like container. It is widely popular among women of India.

The origin of Mehendi:
