But during the pandemic, these feelings can get extended and become tougher to manage that it highly impacts our mental health that it becomes challenging to meet new people and make new friends. Understand and value your worth:

Firstly, you need to understand that the relationship with yourself is the prime foundation of every relationship you are having in this earth maybe with your family, your friends, and also with your partner. Mostly everyone ignores the relationship with oneself and fails to understand one's own value. This pandemic is the right time when you can understand your own interest, your own worth and can have a thoughtful perspective towards your life.

Know the difference between loneliness and solitude:

Sometimes when you feel that your relationship has no meaning and not strong anymore, you feel more lonely but understand, the term loneliness is actually an emotion that is quite distressing and negative. If you are still single and feel like you are not worthy to be loved then your own self-opinion will be lessened when you'll be married. All kinds of negative thoughts will knock on your mind's door just like that uninvited guest that you've avoided long back and can have an impact on your married life. hence, there won't be any different even if you're married because you'll still feel loneliness as you're feeling now in your singlehood.

Someone can just accompany you but none can remove the feeling of loneliness from within. It's just all in your own hands that how you transform your loneliness (which is a distressful, negative term) into solitude (which is a strong, positive emotion). Loneliness is not just being alone rather it depends on your interpretation of being alone.

Utilize your alone time to grow yourself:

Loneliness is actually an internal sign to make efforts to bring some changes in your life. Sometimes loneliness makes you stronger and can gain that confidence of doing something in life. Sometimes, if you're having any doubt in forming your desirable relationship. if you believe in yourself then you won half of the battle. You must just have that confidence in yourself that 'yes, I can'. It is for this reason that the word "confidence" is derived from the Latin roots for "with" (con) and "trust" (fidere).

Hence you must learn to embrace loneliness as a sign to make a move and believe in yourself and understand your self-worth.
