Emergency of electricity board

Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I would like to draw attention to an issue. Recently during the lockdown of COVID-19 there was short circuit in the wire due to falling of the coconut leaves on it due to heavy rainfall. The people of the locality called the emergency number of the Assam State Electricity Board right after the incident took place but the electricity workers came almost after an hour to check it and after that they disconnected the electricity. As the locality people called the emergency number there should be a quick response but the action was taken very late. Due to this there could have been massive accidents. These kinds of emergency incidents should not be ignored. Please kindly see and fix this issue.
