History Distorted by Pakistan

Published on

Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) became an integral part of India when Hari Singh, the king of J&K by the treaty of Accession opted to remain in India in 1947 in the wake of Independence. Pakistan, encouraging infiltration of tribal Muslims and mercenaries tried its best to occupy Kashmir and with this aim in view attacked Kashmir suddenly in October 1947 but Indian army reached the arena on receiving an SOS from king Hari Sing and repulsed the attack but some portion was not vacated by Pakistan’s mercenaries and is still in the possession of Pak (PoK). Due to sheer lack of consistency and due to slackness of the successive governments in New Delhi, Pak over the years got very much pampered and kept sending infiltrators to Kashmir who ultimately tilted the population pattern who virtually made the Kashmiri pundits to leave Kashmir at gun points. Now, the Narendra Modi-led NDA removed Article 370 from J&K and Pakistan is up in arms against India for removing the Article 370 in a show as if J&K is a state of Pakistan, not of India. J&K, as an integral part of India, Government of India has every right to decide anything on the State. Pakistan has no right to poke its nose into the affairs of India. Surprisingly that neighbouring country is preparing for a war with India over the issue. The way, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan reacted to Assam’s NRC, it seems Pakistan is covertly encouraging infiltration into Assam by Bangladeshi nationals to tilt the population pattern in Assam. Rahul Gandhi is a popular figure among the Pak political leaders, including PM Imran Khan. Digbijoy Singh, on many occasions supported Pakistan but India is much mightier than what Pakistan is contemplating.
