Spread love, not hate

In a society full of differences, what we need the most is love, not hate. Hatred divides, but love unites. It heals wounds, builds trust, and creates peace. No matter our race, religion or background, we all seek kindness and respect. Spreading love means choosing understanding over judgement and compassion over anger. Even a small act of love – a smile, a kind word, or a helping hand – can change someone’s day.

Hate solves nothing, but love changes everything. Let's be the reason the society becomes a better place. In every action and word, choose love. It's the most powerful force we have.

Drop the name of Pontius Pilate from the creed

I have always wondered why the name of the coward governor of the Roman province of Judea, Pontius Pilate, is given a prominent place in both the Apostles' and the Nicene Creeds. Pilate found no charge against Jesus, yet he released the murderer Barabbas.

Do we Catholics have to remember Pilate and take his name during the Eucharistic celebrations in church when he literally washed his hands of all responsibility and got Jesus crucified? Pilate's name is out of place alongside the angels and the saints. I hope the Holy Father (the Pope) reads this and deletes the name of Pontius Pilate from both the Apostles' and the Nicene Creeds.

Prospective lethal combo

India and Israel are the two nations on the globe that have been facing Islamic terror attacks since their inception. India in particular due to the wrong policy adopted by the then Congress government at the centre, which ruled the nation for the majority of the period, there was not any diplomatic relation between the two above-quoted nations, citing the secular policy, which in turn has produced more than 50 sleeper cells of Pakistan languishing behind bars. India has been tackling Islamic terrorism and even in some cases helped the USA in dealing with this kind of problem.

After the formation of the BJP-led government at the centre, things have started changing in the right direction, as these two nations have started coming closer together to deal with Islamic terror. India initially faced stiff opposition from the so-called secular front, comprising mainly Congress, the Leftists, SP, TMC, etc., in this regard. Every nationalist, patriotic Indian now feels that both India and Israel can work together and bring the rogue nations patronising terrorism to their knees. In this regard India in particular can rope in Russia, the old trusted ally in this alliance, which will make this trio a lethal combination against any form of terrorism. Before parting, one has to accept that the USA can never be trusted.
