Suffering of common people

Through the esteemed corner of your daily newspaper, I would like to express my concern over the suffering of the common people in India. Health and education are the two main challenges that the common people suffer from. Both sectors in the present world have become money-making businesses.

On one side, it can be seen that the doctors of the private hospital are doing monopolies with patients, giving unnecessary medical examinations and medicines, and on the other side, schools are taking extradited rates in the name of fees and other activities. Recently, two incidents happened to me. I went to a doctor, where he advised me to do a test, but he asked me to do it in his clinic. Why should I do it in his clinic? It is cheaper to do it outside, but the doctor may not see the report. This type of malpractice by the doctor is destroying the medical system in the state as well as the country.

According to a report from 3 years ago, 27 percent of the deaths were due to medical negligence. The government should fix rates for doctors’ fees and medical tests, as well as school fees, as per standard. The people of this country have voted for the NDA government for the betterment of the middle class, but in today’s world, we are suffering. The media should raise this type of basic problem with the common people rather than then going behind political parties or any celebrities. I would like to request both the state and central governments to interfere to stop the monopoly of both sectors for the sake of the common people of this country.
