Any sensible Asomiya citizen cutting across all political and religious lines must and should agree that there is an alarming rise of criminal activities, unheard in the past, extending from Sadiya to Dhubri, giving our policemen many a sleepless night. Assam Police, in their limited capacity so far, has done a very commendable job while dealing with these criminals, who, after enjoying government hospitality for a few months, are again back in the open air to commit the same crime with more vigour. One very stark reality is the fact that 99% of these heinous crimes are committed by people belonging to linguistic minority community, the OXYGEN of Congress and AIUDF. So far as one Sherman Ali, an MLA pledged to protect the Asomiyas living in his constituency, acts as if Baghbor constituency is in Bangladesh. In this regard, a final solution is the need of the hour. Else the very fate of Kashmiri Pandits awaits us.
