We have been reading that China is trying, directly and indirectly, influencing the neighbouring countries such as Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan in order to establish its regional dominance. China views India as a direct competitor and is aggressively pushing forward to establish its dominance. In view of this, it is necessary to resist China's dominance in the Asian subcontinent by intensifying economic, technological, scientific and military ties with the United States.
