Simply vandalism

The ruckus created by a section of COVID patients in some of the centres is quite disturbing. Those patients have resorted to act of vandalism by damaging public property. Their complaint is that they are not receiving basic amenities in time. We can all understand that there are certain loopholes in government's arrangements but need of the hour are cooperation. Some of the patients are behaving as if they are staying in luxurious hotels where breakfast, lunch and dinner would be provided according to their likings. They have forgotten that they have been taken there for their welfare, for their family's future and plus to stop the spread of the virus. Doctors, nurses, laboratory technicians to the sweepers are working overtime to cure them and also save their respective cities, towns, wards or villages. If anyone of them happens to enquire about the quarantine centres of other states, then definitely they will understand the difference. It is reported in news that majority of the quarantine centres in other States do not provide food and even if some of the centres do so it is of extremely poor quality. I repeat there may be some shortcomings in the arrangements in the quarantine centres but then again one has to be patient and cooperate with the staff and other officials of the centres. Damaging the existing facilities is highly condemnable and it bleeds the State exchequer.
