It is not new to see South actors feature in Hindi movies as villains. Junior NTR will be playing a villain in “War 2” which stars Hrithik Roshan. But what if we tell you that “Pushpa 2” actor Allu Arjun is all set to play a bad guy in a Shah Rukh Khan film? It looks like we will soon be seeing Arjun and SRK fighting against each other on the big screen. As per the reports, Allu Arjun will play a negative role in Shah Rukh Khan’s “Pathaan 2”. The YRF movie is a sequel to SRK’s 2023 blockbuster titled “Pathaan”. The first film also starred Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, in which the latter played a negative role. Looks like with the second film, the makers want to make sure that it’s bigger and better. As soon as the news surfaced, a lot of people took to social media to share their reactions
So far, there is no confirmation on the Pathaan 2 script being locked or the villain’s casting. These are just speculations, and we will only find the truth when the makers make an official announcement.
For the unversed, Allu Arjun had earlier shared how initially had no plans to do Hindi movies. According to reports, the “Pushpa 2” actor had said, “We both come from Chennai. I used to tell him it is very difficult for me to do a Hindi film, but as a music director, it is easy for him to do a Hindi film. I would ask him why he doesn’t do it. He would respond, ‘No, and why don’t you do a Hindi film and along with you, I will also do a Hindi film.’ I said I will never do a Hindi film because at that time it was extremely hard to do a Hindi film. Doing a Hindi film was such a huge thing. Maybe in our lifetime, we will do one or two Hindi films. It was that far away for us to do Hindi films. From that mindset to coming to this stage and standing here is a very big thing for me. We both won National Awards and gave a national superhit album for the same film. It is the most precious thing ever to happen for us.” (Agencies)
