Bhojpuri Actress Monalisa Exposes Casting Couch In Film Industry

Mumbai: Bhojpuri actress Monalisa, who is also known as Antara Biswas, is currently in the limelight since she would be debuting in a web series. 

Monalisa has been a part of steamy scenes in the film industry and is known for having played very daring roles. Monalisa had also starred in B grade movies at the beginning of her career as an actress. 

However, Monalisa has explained that she was involved in B grade movies since she had no other option. 

Speaking about her career, Monalisa also exposed the casting couch in the film industry and said that newcomers often had to indulge in homosexual relationships to earn a big break in their acting careers.

Monalisa also revealed that she had received such an offer when she first joined the film industry to become an actress. She said the casting couch offers were made to her when she first came to Mumbai from Kolkata and was looking for an opportunity. 

She added that the casting couch offers were accompanied by promises of a good entry into the film industry. However, she had declined all the offers and faced the situation patiently.

Monalisa believes that declining such offers had led her to cast in B and C grade movies in the early days of her career. However, she remained strong-willed and continued to move ahead in her career.

She said that the issue of the casting couches in the film industry is such that even the boys are not spared. She too has been exploited on several occasions. She added that she was also forced to indulge in homosexual relationships in her career.
