JioHotstar Ends Free IPL Streaming; New Subscription Plans Announced

MUMBAI: In a major move just ahead of the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League, Reliance Jio has launched an attractive deal for its users, offering a free subscription to JioHotstar. The offer enables Jio SIM, JioFiber, and Jio AirFiber customers to watch up to 90 days of free content on the popular streaming service.

The offer is being provided to both old and new Jio SIM subscribers who choose a recharge plan of Rs 299 or more. Jio is also offering a 50-day free trial of JioFiber or JioAirFiber for home customers, which adds to the value of its services.

To avail this offer, customers must recharge or obtain a new SIM between March 17 and March 31. Existing Jio SIM users can activate the offer by recharging with a plan that provides 1.5GB of data per day or more, while new users can receive a new Jio SIM with the same plan.

For those customers who recharged before March 17, there is the availability of buying a Rs 100 add-on pack so that they can avail the JioHotstar subscription. The Jio Hotstar pack will be activated on March 22, the day of the opening match of the cricket season and will last for 90 days.

This effort by Reliance Jio is to increase customer interaction and deliver extra value amidst the much-awaited cricket season.
