John Abraham reveals why he rejected movie with Akshay Kumar

John Abraham and Akshay Kumar have worked together in several movies, like “Garam Masala” and “Desi Boyz”. Fans are waiting for their next big collaborations.  Several times in the past few years, we have seen Akshay Kumar and John Abraham facing box office clashes. The “Pathaan” star was offered a big movie with the Khiladi Kumar. John Abraham was offered “Housefull 5”, but the actor rejected the comedy-drama. In an interview, he even stated why he did the same. John Abraham said,“ I was approached for “Housefull 5” but I chose not to do it. I felt there was a better space for me reserved somewhere else. I would love to do a “Garam Masala” with Akshay (Kumar). Maybe something situational, a dark comedy or something exciting with him, he added. John Abraham was last seen in the film “The Diplomat”, which was released in theatres last Friday. On the other hand, along with Akshay Kumar, “Housefull 5” also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Kriti Kharbanda, Fardeen Khan and others. (Agencies)
