Shraddha Kapoor is all Set to Star in Her Ever Horror Comedy Film

Shraddha Kapoor, the darling daughter of Shakti Kapoor, is all set for her first horror comedy film "Stree" (a Hindi word that means, “woman”), which is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Raj Nidimoru, Krishna D.K., and Dinesh Vijan, under the production house of Maddock Films. The film is based on a true life of the Indian urban legend, “Nale Ba”, which is about a witch who knocks doors at night. The movie 'Stree' stars are Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, the film is scheduled to release on 31 August 2018 and the trailer was released on 26 July 2018.

The story of Stree is set in the town of Chanderi in Madhya Pradesh, and the film is inspired from a true story. In the movie, Rajkummar Rao plays the role of a tailor who falls in love with Shraddha Kapoor, who appears to be mysterious.

Last year, on November 2017, it was announced that Dinesh Vijan had finalized Rajkummar Rao to be the lead actor for his film, which would be a horror comedy written by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. Whereas, Shraddha Kapoor had informed through her Twitter handle that she would be working with Rajkummar Rao and Maddock Films in their next film.

The actors display their dancing prowess in the new song "Milegi Milegi" the first song of the movie to be released soon.

Rajkumar and Shraddha both in the song looking so colorful and groovy. The song is fun and perfectly encapsulates the appeal that Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree character had in the trailer. The song talks about a woman who is beyond beautiful, and everyone looks for her and is trying to find her and the usual schtick.

The song, "Milegi Milegi" is sung by Mika Singh and composed by Sachin-Jigar. Tripathi’s character is seated on a throne, while Shraddha Kapoor and her ensemble of dancers perform for him. Rajkumar as Vicky is tasked with providing the music. Everything is going well until a supernatural figure makes her presence felt.

The director said that we all really enjoyed shooting for the song as it's a peppy number filled with a lot of fun that had got the entire cast grooving to the upbeat tempo. We are sure that the audiences will enjoy watching the song as well as break into a dance whenever the song plays.

The National winning actor Rajkumar Rao, who had done six movies in the previous year, including “Newton”, “Trapped”, and “Bareilly Ki Barfi” and in the year 2018, he signed Hansal Mehta’s film “Omerta” the biography Omar Saeed Sheikh, which released on May 4. The movie is all about the high-profile terrorist cases such as the killing of American journalist Daniel Pearl, kidnapping, and the 9/11 attack.

However, Rao’s performances have not made it into box office as we dig all the collection of his movie that released last year. It saw like none of them had crossed Rs.50 Crore marks. But the fact, what needs attention is that all the films of Rajkumar have been made on a low budget in comparison to all the big-budget commercial hits, which is made by the Khan and the Kapoor.

Rajkumar Rao has many projects this year, along with the movie 'Stree.' He is ready for his 6 more upcoming movies, which includes 5 weddings, Fanney Khan, Love Sonia, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, Mental Hai Kya and Made in China.
