Guwahati: The eagerly-awaited Dil Bechara, the last film of Sushant Singh Rajput's career has created a great deal of buzz among the fans. Within the minutes of the release, the film's IMDb rating ascended to 10.

It has been reported with over 21 thousand votes, Dil Bechara is rated 9.8 out of 10 on the database. The fans were quite eager to watch the film for over a month and they finally got to witness Sushant Singh Rajput's magic on their screens for one last time after the film premiered online yesterday evening at 7:30 pm. 

It has also ranked the first position on IMDb's 'Top Rated Indian Movies' list, leaving behind Kamal Haasan and R Madhavan's 2003 Tamil film Anbe Sivam. 

Based on John Green's book, 'The Fault in Our Stars', Dil Bechara is about a young couple looking for the silver lining around the dark cloud that is cancer. 

Sushant Singh Rajput's performance as Immanuel Rajkumar Junior aka Manny in the movie has received immense love from the audiences who went gaga over him.

Although the movie was supposed to be released in theatres, due to the pandemic scenario, it premiered online yesterday on Disney plus Hotstar.

It is to be mentioned that the brilliant actor died by suicide at his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai on June 14. After his untimely demise, Sushant's fans had requested the makers to release the film in cinema halls and made the hashtag #DilBecharaOnBigScreen trend on social media for days. After the movie was released digitally,  #DilBecharaDay and subsequent hashtags have become top trends on Twitter.
